Kristie says: WOW what can i say, kickball was a huge part of my life for 12 years, and it still is. I loved every minute of it. sometimes i wish i was still a kid. It went by all to fast. Now i have a family of my own a daughter who just turned 4 , a son who will be 3 and a step daughter who is 8 and loves to play also. It is amazing how you look back on your life and remember all the great and wonderful friends you had made for a lifetime. Now i am a mom who is watching my children play, its kind of crazy huh? I thought life would go by slow, but it went waaaayyyy tooo fast..Watch out Southside my little girl Haleigh starts next year and she is ready to kick booty! HAHA see ya at the field!

LIFE:
I can't wait for August every year because that is when women's starts! Playing kickball has given me some of the best times of my life and still does. I could not have asked for better people to be around growing up and still have the opportunity to be around them today. Kickball is and always has been in my blood, it just took my mom forcing me to play my first year to get it out of me! Thanks MOM! Winning 3 STATE
CHAMPIONSHIPS is something I will never forget. (It should have been 4....sorry bout that last kick against UHO yall.) Like Shelby, I will play
kickball till I die. By then I hope they will have a "Z" division, right ladies, so we can use our walkers to get to the bases! Want to see some
awesome kickball...come check out Prix Chix this women's season coached by none other than the greatest kickball coach ever.....Richard! Can't wait to hit the field again and BABY A's!!!

Ann Marie says: well "life after kickball". well what can i say its weird not being at the fields everyday. just like sum other girls i practcally lived at the field. if i wasn't there having a game, or even practiceing. i was there with friends watching the games. i had sum great times on and off those fields. even before and after i played. it's been years since i have be at those fields. but now it's time for me to go back to the field now that i have kids that are playin there. i can't wait to be back at the fields this year.

Maddie says: ...and of course I wore the mighty red and white since the day I was born!!! -- "Life after kickball," wow that makes me feel so old. To think that my years at the field have gone by so fast. I lived at the kickball field for 18 years and I would not change anything about it. I love knowing that I grew up on fields 1, 2, 3, and 4. My life now consist of college volleyball and school. I am going to a branch of A&M in Laredo and I absolutely love it. I hope to graduate early with a dregree in fitness and sports and become a WINNING volleyball coach. Eventually, my mom would like me to return to Southside and become the next president. We will see how that goes. For me theres in no life after kickball, kickball has and always will be a huge part of my life and I am proud to say it!!!
